**My question is this: why is all the talk only about the IRA putting their arms beyond use? What about the UDA and all the other loyalist paramilitaries? Who will stand and watch them destroy their arms? And why is it called a democracy when one government, an occupying power guilty of state-sanctioned murder, can suspend it at will? This is not a democracy. And when the loyalists continue to snipe at and kill innocent people and bring death threats against nationalist communities, who will defend us then?
