Taxi driver in bomb ordeal
A taxi driver has been ordered at gun point to drive a bomb to a police station in Belfast city centre.
Army technical officers were called to the Grosvenor Road police station to deal with it.
The taxi driver picked up two men from a depot at Upper Donegall Street in the city about 1930 GMT on Saturday.
They asked to go to Leeson Street. On arrival, the front seat passenger pointed a gun at the driver and forced him to take them to Gibson Street.
After placing a suspicious object wrapped in a bin bag into the back seat, the driver was ordered to go to Grosvenor Road police station while the assailants made off on foot.
Army technical officers examined the device and found that it contained a large amount of petrol.
