One of the taxi drivers suffered facial injuries

Six taxi drivers have had their cars hijacked at gunpoint in north Belfast.

The drivers had their vehicles taken in Enfield Parade, Highfield Drive and Glencairn Road at 1900 GMT on Saturday.

One of the men suffered facial injuries when he was assaulted. He was taken to hospital for treatment, but has since been released.

Another three vehicles, believed to be taxis, were also set on fire in nearby locations. Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
